Government & Institutional Partnership Capability
Government & Institutional Capabilities
Mind Body Institute of the Piedmont, PLLC brings together neuropsychology, behavioral medicine, neuro-rehabilitation counseling, healthcare research, workforce development, and neuropsychosocial determinants of health for government, healthcare, rehabilitation, post-acute, long-term-care, educational, and community-serving partners.
Three Durable Capability Pillars
1. Neuropsychosocial & Clinical Services
Adult and geriatric assessment and intervention capabilities include neuropsychological and neurocognitive evaluation, behavioral medicine, psychotherapy and counseling, chronic pain evaluation, veterans-focused assessment work, private evaluations, disability and rehabilitation-related services, and appropriate onsite services in nursing-home and assisted-care settings.
Psychology services are supported by licensure in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. Virtual neuropsychological testing may be provided when clinically appropriate and consistent with applicable requirements in those jurisdictions.
2. Healthcare Research & Workforce Development
Capabilities include behavioral-health and healthcare research, research translation, workforce development, skills enhancement, student and trainee development, internships and applied learning, technology-assisted workflows, and efforts to strengthen and diversify the health and behavioral-health workforce.
The Global Mental Health Prosperity Network extends this capability through its Education and Workforce Development Core and the Certified Neuropsychosocial Root Causes Coaching & Psychometrics Technician Training Program.
3. Neuropsychosocial Determinants of Health
Capability areas include chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, post-stroke functioning, dementia and cognitive disorders, medically complex populations, behavioral-health concerns, community education, and integrated consideration of neurological, psychological, social, environmental, occupational, cultural, behavioral, economic, medical, relational, and functional influences on health.
Institutional & Post-Acute Capability
For appropriate nursing-home and assisted-care settings, verified current service capabilities include neuropsychological evaluations, chronic pain evaluations, and psychotherapy for adult and geriatric populations. The broader capability statements also document historical work involving post-acute and long-term-care environments.
Veteran & Government-Facing Capability
The capability statements identify Veterans’ Compensation & Pension examinations, clinical assessment, disability-related evaluation, behavioral-health services, and government contracting as established areas of work. These capabilities should be presented by service function rather than by fixed operational promises that may change across contracts.
Workforce Development as a Contracting Differentiator
Government and institutional partners may require more than direct service delivery. The MBIP and GMHPN ecosystem can also support workforce preparation, applied training, psychometrics development, professional skill building, research translation, student development, and future-workforce capacity building.
Workforce-Ready. Graduate School Prepared. Future-Focused.
Capability Governance
Stable Capability, Dynamic Operations™: this Digital Front Door states durable competencies. Contract-specific eligibility, staffing, payer rules, credential status, procurement registrations, insurance coverage, service volumes, and other time-sensitive requirements should be verified against the current authoritative record at the time of proposal or contracting.
Data integrity note: historical capability statements contain differences in organizational establishment year, contracting-code presentation, and service-volume/projection language. Those fields are intentionally excluded from public presentation until reconciled against current corporate, SAM/DSBS, insurance, and internal service records.
